Concept
The Mind Reader is a source of illumination that visualizes time over the course of a day. It displays each time frame by altering the color and hue of its light.
We wish to create an ambiance that invites people to reflect on time. The Mind Reader will be set up outside the doorway, with an attempt to not only bring luminance around but to represent the color of time.
Over time the users will learn how one day is broken down into segments in various colors, as they experience different colors of light greetings everyday they come home.
The programming of the timer and the lighting effect are done in processing, which communicate with the Arduino board behind the white frame.
